Updated National Palliative Care Strategy consultation
Thank you for your interest in the update of the National Palliative Care Strategy.

The National Palliative Care Strategy 2010 was evaluated last year, and as a result of the evaluation the Commonwealth Department of Health has decided to update the National Strategy to provide greater strategic direction for the continual improvement and delivery of palliative care services across Australia.

This consultation allows the Australian public, including health professionals, an opportunity to provide feedback on the draft National Strategy, which has been developed following extensive consultation with policy makers, palliative care clinicians, researchers, and other expert stakeholders.

This brief survey provides an opportunity to comment on the draft National Strategy and to offer any suggestions for improvement.

The survey will take between 10 and 30 minutes to complete, depending on the extent of your comments. The survey will close at 5pm (EST) Friday 15 September 2017.

Your responses are confidential and we do not ask for any information that will identify you specifically.  We do ask for some basic information which will help us to understand who (in broad terms) has responded to the survey, and where respondents are located (by postcode).

By completing and submitting the survey you are giving consent for your comments to be used in the update of the National Strategy, and to the summarising of your comments with all others in a report for the Department of Health.
